November 18th – Today, SABG would like to take a moment to honor LTG Timothy J. Maude on what would have been his 71st birthday. Lieutenant General Maude was among those who were lost in the attack on the Pentagon on the morning of September 11, 2001.
During his 35 years as a Solider, he served in a variety of important command and staff positions culminating in his final position as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel, United States Army.
He was revered by many, including our CEO Keri (Buettner) Mungo who knew him well, and supported him in the Pentagon.
Today, we mourn the loss of this fallen hero, but celebrate the impact he continues to make on the Army and our nation.
